This workshop is designed for staff involved in the delivery of IFE’s Certificate III in Christian Ministry and Theology and for staff from colleges exploring this course for their own college. The day provides important updates on course content and administration.
Foundations for Lay Pastoral Ministry is a course offered by the Institute of Faith Education in partnership with Evangelisation Brisbane. It is designed for people who are involved, or have been invited to be involved, in baptismal preparation, family sacramental preparation, and/or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults ministries. The course provides personal formation and develops skills for practical application in a parish or ministry context through a series of six interactive full-day workshops.
This course provides the required theology and Religious Education competencies/units to gain accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools in Queensland.
